Emergency exits are usually blocked
during check in for a kind of VIP passenger´s: cabin crew flying back to their
headquarters – management – owners of travel agencies invited by that company
to assist a coaching – etc. But there is a way to get those seats:
If you are traveling by yourself, if
you are young, if you are not fat (physically fit) and know how to speak good
English while you are doing the check kindly ask staff if they could unblock
the emergency exit seat. Don´t say: "is that seat free?" simply ask
if they could unblock it for you. Also tell them that you know how to speak
English and that you are physically fit in case of an emergency. So if after
this you are the idiot that says: "I need that extra space because I hurt
my foot" or my personal favorite "I have claustrophobia, I need that
extra space in front of me to travel more calm" > what part of physically
(and mentally) fit did you not understand?
Usually, the woman or boy in front of
you will need the authorization of his / her boss that would be next to him.
Then you will hear the magic words: 22 H is unblocked. Simple as it can
get.
(I don´t own the above picture)
