Assessment Day - Recruiter´s Batch

While presentation and answering questions she is thinking about how to through a chair at your face shouting “why in god’s name you are making such a stupid question?” and at the same time finding pleasure in seeing your face when she tells you that you just didn´t make it. But she is trained to smile.

  1. Not all of them. But many have a very strong character even if they don´t show it. They travel thousands of miles to hear exactly the same thing that they hear from candidates of the previous country they visited. They have jet lag, they usually arrive a day or two tops from the open day or assessment and even so they are usually ex crew they still feel jet lag. Besides following company criteria they are taught not to waste their time, they are very fast and clean cut (efficient) when they make the selection process. Imagine: they may see an estimate of 80 or so candidates and between 5 and 10 minutes (average) they determinate who goes through each stage until the final interview. They are not all bad, but once again, they have a special character. And obviously the Tyra Banks kiss of goodbye when a group or someone didn´t make through that stage: “thank you so much for you effort and potential, for your time and bliss to be part of today’s venue. We know that you have terrific skills, but unfortunately is not your time. We can´t give you feedback because of criteria of the company, we just can say that you may re apply in X amount of months”. They say all of that as if they mean it, some may do but the general perspective are trained to do so. Literally there is a guidebook which they are trained in how to cope with those situations.
